Here's one for you innovative thinkers out there. As you can see, the windows in the living area are high, to keep clear of the lower roof-line. Problem is, inside they are high too, can only see sky unless you stand close and look down. There are lots of windows and lots of light, but driving me crazy that I can't see out without getting up and walking over to look down. We have beautiful views that can't be enjoyed. The window on the end, will either become a door onto a Juliet balcony or a tall window, depending on the cost. But there has to be some way to cut into the roofline of the barn to put bigger-lower-windows in. I know it won't be cheap but if I knew how it could be done, I could work towards it. I'm not thinking of every window, just the three in the living room. You see one here, (the back three are in the dining room and the bedroom, which isn't a problem.) There are two on the other side which are the most important to see people driving in etc.
