[DIY] Re: Low Water Pressure

 

If you are saying sand filter (sand point?) it could be a problem with the filter, or it needs backwashed, or other maintenance; if it has a water softener, same applies to that system.  Guessing that you are saying she has a well system, with her own pump/ tank.  As others have said, there are some well pump potential problems also.  If she has under-sink filters, they require routine replacement, or they stop up.  Is there a pressure/ flow problem at outside hose bibs, at the yard hose bib near the pump house, or just kitchen, or just bath, or whole house?  This can help you pin down the cause/ cure.
