I went to the Lasing website and did one of their tests…..turn on the faucet furthest from the heater. Let it run till hot, then check faucets along the line…..if they are not instantly hot it isn't working properly.
I don't think it's working at all. I let it run in the half bath till it was hot, walked back to the kitchen and still had to wait for hot water so either it's connected wrong or it's not working. We held off on the last $800 till they had everything completed and he said everything was working properly. But he had to come back again to fix a leak, and when I mentioned we were not getting hot water he decided the water heater wasn't working properly. I'm pretty sure it's the recirculator and most likely something to do with how it's installed.
Thanks for your input. At least I'm learning the questions to ask :)
