On the plumbers suggestion, we chose to install a saniflo toilet in our upstairs "closet half/bath". Have had no experience with them but for what we wanted it seemed to be our best (only) option. Went with a larger system so I could have the new washer/dryer installed where I originally wanted them, in a laundry room, and leave the ones I had installed at the front of the barn to wash dirty horse towels etc. An area of concern was pipes freezing, the young man suggested a new product that flexes without breaking - although more expensive it sounded good as there will never be regular heat in the barn area. He is installing a larger vent pipe so we can add a full bath later, where we want it (the bedroom) by tying into the original system. I knew there were options to regular plumbing but had never actually considered them. Anyone on list have personal experience with these macerating systems?
