I used a rustoleum bath tub kit to repaint our bone or white bath tub. Not a plastic bath tub but the heavy metal one.
It looked absolutely beautiful for a year. After that the paint began to peel and chip... little by little. Now it looks so bad we always keep the shower curtain pulled.
I did not want to spend several hundred to have it painted. Not sure if the professional paint holds.
