Just what are we talking about  (booster)?  I looked it up on google and saw several listings for a mixing valve put on the water heater to allow you to increase the water heater temp., then lower the output temp. by mixing in cold water to deliver a lower temp. @ the faucets.  Is this what you are getting?

You can have the circulating pump on during evening meal prep untill you usually go to bed, so you can wash dishes and shower after you eat then and run your DW right before you go to bed.
