Ive heard differing opinions as to sealing seams/gaps. As if it will hinder the drip action or that airflow is necessary. Im trying to maximize weatherproofing. My feeling is the following need to be sealed: the tall vertical seams where the horizontal siding and endcaps/ corners meet, around the soffit joints, and what about the bottom of the corners, they seem open to air n rodents? Also I see small but big enough for a mouse to enter holes where trim wasnt perfectly fit, how and would I seal that. And its ok to caulk very bottom of all siding around perimeter of house, where foundation and siding meet.
