yes you can change out the tub and put in a shower, you have to measure the walls and floor to ceiling to get the right shower that will fit

Can I replace a "garden=type" tub in a mobile home with a shower? There is a shower that is like a real small cabinet and you have to step up to use it (about 12" off the ground). It's too small and difficult for me, but there is a tub type thing in the bathroom, it's called a garden tub, just kind of sits there in the middle of the bathroom with no shower capabilities. I don't take baths. I take showers. Last time I took a bath I thought my husband would have to call 911 to get me out of the tub. (My knees...) Wondering if I can replace the tub in the trailer (1986 model) with a walk-in shower. Thoughts, anyone?
