[DIY] Cold back room

I ve been trying for several years to figure out best way to handle this back room issue.

It was formerly a 3 season room with glass all around, then we closed and insulated with several large windows and it has to exterior doors, one poorly blowing heat vent, one electric heater against wall and an old fireplace that we dont use ever with an outdoor ash dump.

I covered the chimney with tarp this season. The damper is rusted shut (too bad no one ever mentioned this possibility to me with open chimney before it rusted shut on me).

We had a roof leak due to the chimney flashing being done improperly at roof replacement, so the ceiling is open in a section.

I now wish I had not used these large windows but even the kitchen has large patio doors and its warmer. So I presume the main diff is the heat vent in the kitchen.

Being that this room was an addition away from the main house where all the ductwork is and its on a pad- it appears my only option is an electric heater, since I wont run fireplace with child in house.

Any ideas on best heater or fireplace insert - preferably- due to space, for my 350 square foot room with 3 exterior walls. Its really too cold to enjoy for play or relaxing. I also wonder if ceiling or wall insulation improvement would be vast improvement, And of course the most economical routes.
