I just posted a file that is a pretty nifty utility for searching for
items on Craigslist. Just download it and open it. Your browser will run
it. Its safe.
In order to use it you need to allow pop up windows. Most browsers by
default block them. What the webpage does is open a new window or tab
for each localities search. California has a lot of them. It searches
the whole state you do a search on.
Take note of the filters on the right side of the page. You can narrow
your search quite a bit there.
Not sure how well it will run in Internet Explorer. it runs fine in
Firefox and Google Chrome. I think Opera works too. Internet Explorer
tends to have a different structure in the way it operates from the rest
of the browsers. I didn't have the patience to sort that out. I rarely
use Internet Explorer except to use for local exchange between computers
and FTP. I wrote it in Javascript and HTML.
