Apparently Home Depot carries them too but it all depends on whether they stock it in their stores or not. Often these days what you see online isn't what you find in the store. Grainger doesn't usually have what I need either. Its in their catalog and online but they don't stock it in their stores. It usually takes a day or so for them to get it.

I have been using timers for various lights in the house forever. Now that I'm sitting in a room with no tv or anything else running the timer is getting on my nerves. It's not all that loud but once you pick up on a noise you know how it bugs you? Well, this is bugging me.
Is there a newer type of timer that doesn't sound like it's running or ticking? Mine are a bit old. Just wondering if there's something out there that is quiet, like an electric clock would be. I don't want to spend a fortune, perhaps under $20.
