I have installed several for others, and when our 20+ year old tank gives up will probably put one in for ourselves as well. I'm just not sure they have gotten the thermal efficiency question fully addressed yet, since there is so much flue heat that you must use stainless steel pipe. That is a bunch of heat that is being wasted to my thinking, and is one of the reasons I'm holding off on putting one in.
