Re: [DIY] Traveling Outlets Pics

The ones I bought the daughter were not dimmable, just trying to convince her that she could afford to leave a light on when she left so as not to come back to a dark house.  BTW she lives in the country and is an attractive single mother, so Dad tends to be concerned.

I looked at their website and they *do* have the dimmable bulbs but at $20 a pair (I'd need 8 of them), they're still pricey.

I'll wait until they (eventually) drop in price.

I found flame shaped led replacements for the chandelier in my daughters dinning room and finally convinced her that she could afford to leave the light on when she left the house.  I can't however remember if the base was small or large, but I found them at Menards which I don't believe is available back in the DC area.

I haven't found a cost effective LED replacement for our small chandelier in the foyer since it has small, pointed incandescent bulbs (the kind that looks like candle flames),

but I figure in a couple of years we'll be able to buy LED bulbs in just about any shape.
