Re: [DIY] painting and interior

Yes you can use a sprayer on the interior, but I would recommend an HVLP system as control and over spray are fare easier to manage.  I see that Wagoner  is offering a complete system for 129.00 which appears to be similar to the one I bought from Harbor Freight several years ago.

Wagner 518080 Control Spray Max HVLP Sprayer

    • Powerful Two Stage Turbine sprays latex, as well as thinner materials such as lacquers and stains
    • Variable Air Pressure Control means less overspray with thin materials
    • 20 Foot High Flex Air Hose extends your reach
    • 3 spray patterns - select the best pattern for your job
    • Variable flow control covers large spray surface down to detail work

As mentioned in another post, my rehab house is moving right along. The
plaster and lath is gone and the drywall is going up. Soon it'll be ready
for painting, which is something I'd like to do. Since the house is empty,
I'd thought to use a sprayer; it can do more faster. In talking with
people, I'm hearing both pros and cons that just about even out, so I
thought I'd see what the group has to say. The paint would be a latex and a
flat, or eggshell, finish. Colors will be light, neutral tones.

Has anyone used a sprayer to paint the interior of a house? How'd it work
out? Which one/brand would be recommended?

Spraying vs brush and roller - pros? cons?

Advice?

Thanks in advance.
