That depends on what kind of hinges you use, however if someone wants in that bad, any small detail like hinges and locks won't be a deterrent.  And besides it is time to move to the hills anyway.

I wonder why some walk-in garage doors I have seen swing out instead
of in?  Seems you can have a little more interior space if it swings out?
