[DIY] Re: Shelves

Apparently somebody hasn't actually VISITED a library recently. Mine has kept up with and adapted to increasing technology. They offer classes ( for example, on how to use the internet), you can check out ebooks or audiobooks online, you can check out kid's gadgets like leapsters instead of buying them, they have puppets and a puppet theater, a play area for kids, a teen room for teens to play wii and other gaming systems, offer wii bowling tournaments for seniors, they run one of those kids reading to dogs programs, there's a corner for clipping and swapping coupons, knitting clubs, toastmasters, foreign language courses and ESL, local history resources,a large collection of DVDs (why pay to rent on at redbox when you can get it free), they offer a subscription to consumer reports so you can access all the online reviews without paying.... I could go on but won't. The library is a wonderful resource and you miss a lot if you skip it.
