I suspect someone is blowing smoke
Received an answer from the owner of the company who said if there is hot water at the faucet, there has to be hot washer at the dishwasher. If not there is a problem with the dishwasher. I still don't understand how water can run through the same line hot in one place and cold in the other. What could be wrong with the dishwasher that it will only bring in cold water? This is brand new, delivered on 12/15, hooked up a few days later and worked fine. Had I not noticed the detergent not dissolving I wouldn't have known it wasn't working properly.
