[DIY] Re: Concrete patching

They sell concrete patch in small quantities of the area that need filled are small. For larger areas sacrete or similar works fine. If the cavity is shallow be careful of the gravel size, it can cause problem smoothing. Mix in small batches in a trough or bucket, scoop into the cavity and smooth. Smoothing can be done with a trowel or even a short piece of board. Working it while wet will bring the fine material to the top for a smoother finish. When it is looking OK let it set a bit and maybe give it one last touch before it hardens. A little practice and you'll do fine just start in the easiest place to hide.
