[DIY] Re: Eaves

The distance vertically from the drip edge to the gutter really doesn't matter as long as it drips into the gutter. Water going behind is normally back-up in the downspouts or level of the gutter either slope towards the downspout or front to back level. Over time cutters can sag between supports either sight down the gutter edge of lay a good stiff straight edge on it (longer the better) and look for gaps.

The gutters were done years ago, the roof was redone more recently and no one considered the gap between the gutter and drip as defeating the purpose of the drip, while I do see the drip still plays a decent role. Whats the best way to handle this? Winter coming.
