We're in an area Northwest of Phoenix Az. Temps up around 115 in the summer, once in a while down to 20's at night in the winter.
We replaced our 20 year old combination heat pump/swamp cooler with a Trane heat pump about 6 years ago. (Not a flat roof, standard peaked roof) No longer have any kind of evap cooler. We've been 100 percent satisfied with the Trane both winter and summer. At that time, there was a government rebate of some sort, don't know about now. Ed
