Re: [DIY] NON-RUSTING Bath window curtain rod tip

PVC is right up there with zip ties, vet wrap and duct tape, IMO.  I use 1/2" pvc to string anti-sparrow netting through the rafters and weight the lower end to keep the feathery little heathens from pooping in my outdoor shop area; use 6" for cavalettis to train dressage horses.

Get street els. They have a socket on one end. The other slips into other fittings.

I use a lot of PVC pipe. It lends itself to a lot of structural solutions. I have even thought of using 3" PVC for studding in a house.

AFTER YEARS OF SUFFERING WITH METAL CURTAIN RODS at the bath window rusting, requiring replacement every 3-6 months, I looked for a plastic rod and then, not finding one, decided to use 1/2"-PVC pipe. (or 3/4") But, HOW to mount, and then realized pipe PVC END CAPS.  Just drill the center of the cap and mount to the wall, FEMALE out.
