[DIY] Re: Now about space heaters

 

As mentioned, the outlets themselves may be as Dale described and are not safe in my humble opinion. The wiring in the trailer is sized for normal loads and ANY electric heater added will be an overload. You need a new circuit added to safely use a heater continuously.
BTW, are we talking about a mobile home or RV/5th wheel? RV wiring is without a doubt inadequate. Also, do NOT use an extension cord unless it is 12 gauge wire size and not any longer than needed.
