Aki, Iffen it were mine, and it isn't a valuable antique, I'd use a moldable, air dry clay product to fill the area or a very thick plaster mix. Both can be shaped, sanded and painted. You say this is concrete so I'd go with the plaster... mix very thick, apply with a brush - use a wet brush or your finger to shape, keeping it level with the surrounding area. Krylon makes a Stone Texture paint that comes in several colors and looks very realistic. Spray a bit in a dish, apply with a stipple brush till it blends in. Another "craft" product :) is CelluClay - a dry paper maiche mix you can get in gray or white. Mix with water to use and when dry the gray appears very close to concrete color and texture. It sticks to anything, can be smoothed with a wet brush or finger while it's drying or applied rough and sanded smooth. Any of these would work and cost about $10. There are also air-dry clays that mimic stone and an instant concrete repair mix might work too. The chip doesn't appear too deep, so I'd think the plaster would be the easiest to apply and give you the best result.
