From what I can tell this is a product by the same people that offer Jing.  Also comes with Snag-it and several other available utilities.  I just got used to Jing and like the way it stays available and out of the way.  It could probably use a few more features but for what I use it for it is great.  I also go out and grab a few recipes for the wife and just screen capture, edit with open office and print complete with photos.  I also like to grab useful tables for the shop and this is handy for that as well.  Now if someone would off a free "clean and put-away" for the shop I'd really be impressed.  Sort and store would also be nice, not to mention find and locate.

Windows XP & 7 come with "Snipping Tool". It allows you to determine the size of the area you want to capture and then allows you to save it in a variety of formats.
