I tend to think of myself as a pretty competant DIYer, but I would NOT try this. If you are intent on doing this, I would check out as much as you can on the net and then see if you can get some scrap pieces to test your cutting skills. If you mess up the cut for the sink, you're going to use a lot of caulk to cover up thinks.
