Hi:
I started this thread and we too have a sump with a Watch Dog on it for when the electricity goes out. It has only been needed once but is wonderful to have as it pumps it out
for a good long time. Can't remember exactly how long.
This alarm is for the other hole that had that switch go out and also will help w/the water heater should it leak water since this one has nothing to do with the sump pump. Our
sump is completlely dry while the water was coming up in the drain and the other hole. Just not sure what you call this hole but the pump is for just one part of the house that
evidently does not go through the main sewer pipe and goes through this one and solids are pumped out through this drain. When it stopped working the water was level with
the floor. We were so lucky.
