We still use a mid 80's Dot Matrix printer of mine for delivery receipts at work, an old Epson. It still works great. They are still the only type of printer that works with carbon-less paper. They are work horses. I think they still make them.

True, I had a well deserved senior moment. You have to keep in mind that when I began this digital journey we only had drum and chain printers, no key boards and no monitors. Now that is ancient history, the dot matrix was a wonder in its day.

That is essentially the one I bought a couple of years ago and I think I paid about 70.00 at the time. Like all other things they come down with volume and competition. Keep in mind that these things are a lot like dot matrix printers, they make their money on the blades. I bought a few blades for about 1/2 the price the last time I was at HF but haven't had reason to try them yet.
