very easy to fix.

Just use a thin (like a washcloth) towel and an iron set on the steam setting. If
possible use a *white* cloth.  That's just to ensure that no color bleeds off the towel
onto the wood.

Place the cloth over the white spot and using the iron, squirt some of the irons
hot water onto the towel.  Then place the iron on the towel over the spot where
the white spot is and hold for a couple of seconds.  Remove and you're done.

If all of the white area isn't gone, just do it again.  Finish with a good furniture
polish.

Grab your favorite beverage and revel in how easy it was.  :-)
