RE: [DIY] Mildew/Stains on Concrete

Just some additional general comments on pressure washers and their
nozzles (tips).....Each machine should have a set of 4 nozzles.......
Each with a different spray angle - 0 degree; 15 degree; 25 degree and
40 degree.....There is also a "black" tip for use with a chemical injector.......
Since chemicals are not applied under pressure the "black" tip will
only "flood" the surface to be cleaned......For cleaning concrete a 4000psi
pressure washer is preferable.......Since this pressure setting is not
consumer friendly, I suggest the use of a 3000psi machine......Some large
machines DO NOT have any pressure adjustment......Some smaller ones
WILL have adjustable "unloaders".....You need maximum pressure for
concrete, lesser pressure for wood decks or siding.......The best nozzle
for concrete would be a special oscillating zero degree, if rentable....
Otherwise the 15 degree should be used.......Also remember that maximum
water pressure is within 2 inches of the nozzle......A 3000psi machine should
produce 2600psi at this point.......Pumps
