Re: [DIY] Re: Toy flushed

Hi Pumps.

I believe the toy that went down was about 3 inches long. (A wooden train car).

The plumber guaranteed me that the toy was in the toilet. My wife said that he showed her how far the snake (or auger) was going before it would stop.

Well,I should never critique somebody's right to make a living, but after he charged me $95 to come out, $125 to use the snake for a few minutes, i thought it was a little excessive to tack on another $400.

I should have tried to fix it myself before calling. Lesson learned.

How SMALL is the wooden toy?.....If small enough then the toy has
passed through the toilet bowl and is now in the sewer line......If the toy
is in the bowl then you also have a clogged toilet....Human waste and paper
will not pass any obstruction in the bowl's "ell".....A toilet will work fine with
fluid waste only.....$400 is indeed a lot of money, but remember you are
paying for the plumber, his boss, the bosses car payment and mistress...LOL
A good handyman and a case of beer will get a toilet removed for
inspection, if need be.....Question is, where is the small wooden toy?....
