[DIY] Homelite trimmer UT 20677

 

I have a Homelite string trimmer Model UT 20677 that I bought at auction. I think I can get it to run properly but I can't get the "bump head" off. The bump head holds the spool of trim line in place and should come off with a simple twist but (naturally) it won't. I have looked online and found a couple of places that will send me new parts but I need the old stuff off first. Any thoughts?
