[DIY] Re: Sink drain through basement floor?

 

Shane,

The only issue with running the drain line up through the floor is that you still want to keep it as close to the wall as you can so you can tie it into your existing vent system above the new P-trap under the sink. You want to keep that vent going as vertical as possible, and not horizontal and that can be tough to do with minimal space under the sink.
