RE: [DIY] Sound proofing common walls

you will need to find out what actually is between your houses, as the
adjoining wall is supposed to be a fire break, if it is a hollow wall you
can try blown in insulation, if it is a masonry wall, without tearing off
the drywall on your side and starting over, I guess you could learn to play
the drums...

Subject: [DIY] Sound proofing common walls

I am in a Townhome with an ajoining neighbor. I can hear their kitchen
doors slamming and loud talking. One time I heard a guitar being played. I
don't want to bother them, so what can I do that would be a good sound
barrier between our homes? blown in insulation or ?
