Jan, with a DR full of birds, anything in relief is a dust-catcher so it will be a painted thing that is easy to clean.
I'm still working on my plan for that mural... it is coming in small flashes. : )

Yes Carmen, Moss Green and Taupe share a lot of the same base tones - as long as there isn't too much gray in the taupe. Which was our problem here, beautiful color but the gray base and lack of natural light made for a dark house. Had it been a green base we'd have been OK. What type of mural are you planning on painting? When you say texture are you thinking sheetrock mud with stencils? I love that look and with a hint of color is beautiful without being obvious.
