[DIY] Re: Garage door opener

 

HD and Lowes sell (or used to sell last year)  a universal GD opener with simple programming instructions wherein you push the programming button on your opener body and press the button on your GD opener remote and voila you are in business.... You would need manual for your GD opener to ID the correct button however it may be imprinted (most likely in #8 font) on the opener metal plate somewhere near one of the GD body knobs or adjusters. Be careful if you have to stand on a ladder or chair to reach the GD opener.
