I know I am really late in replying here and perhaps your A/C has been
fixed but it sounds like the same kind of problem last year with a rental of
mine. I went to check out everything else first before calling my AC
guy....but did have to call him. Lucky for me it was the 4th of July holiday
and he didn't want to come....so he told me to just shut it down for about
an half hour or so and then try it. That fixed the problem......it had
been running so hard to keep up with demand that the coils froze up and
needed to thaw out. Sure saved me some bucks.
Just another thing to check out when one's AC unit stops putting out cold
air.
