Sounds like the control board that turns the condenser fan on is having a problem. Might be something as simple as a stuck relay, but in all probability you will need a new control board. You might be able to keep on using the unit with out causing further damage but I don't want to advise you to do so, because if the fan should quit it is possible to take out the compressor and then it will be real money time.

Our AC is cooling fine, but something's wrong w/it. For 2-3 days the fan has not cut off.
