Re: [DIY] Re: MOLES IN THE YARD

Hi all,

When I moved into this house, the ground was over run by moles/voles, 20 or more tunnels every morning. I went to Home Depot and bought Sweeney's Kill Moles and Gophers Poison Peanuts. It worked great. In no time at all I'm down to seeing a tunnel every week or two. The bottle that it comes in is a cone shape and you push in the end to open up their tunnel and pour a few pellets in it and cover it up again. The moles/Voles eat the pellets as the run through the tunnel.

Good Luck,

Mike in Shirley, N.Y.

I have had mole problems, you would not believe the mole runs. Anyhow there is a web site  something to the affect of do it yourself extermination, sells several items. I bought the poison worms, hoping to have a mole fishing derby, but also bought the talpid traps. These I saw recently at a Home depot, under a major company brand name, but the same trap. The web site has great info on moles and how to trap. each time I set a trap, bingo, dead mole. I am now one of the top mole hunters in the mid west. check out the site and get one of these traps. PS never used the poison worms, but am working on a local mole fishing derby. Good hunting

Thanks Guys, Tomorrow I'll go to Lowes and see what they have. We don't have a Home Depot.
