re: AC Condenser, a few other thoughts:
1. Low freon can make it run continuous, ice the cooling coil, overheat the compressor and kick the thermal overload;
2. Condenser fan motor going bad can drag/ run slow, causing high head pressure on compressor, kicking thermal overload;
3. can also be caused by either/ both capacitors going bad, but not (yet) blown. I had one motor a few years back, that if I had not seen it slow down (like a 2-speed), I would not have realized that it was the problem.....(but when they do, the head pressure and amps go way up.) It was a 1-speed motor.
