Can't help you with CO frost lines, but just for comparison...here in WNY
(Western New York state), code has footers set at 42 inches. The new porch
on my rehab house has footers set at 48 inches. We get a lot of snow (often
measured in feet), and a lot of cold temperatures (often measured in the
minus degree range).
